Friends of the School

Our Friends of the School group plays a vital role in bringing our community together and enriching school life throughout the year. Made up of dedicated parents, carers and staff, they work tirelessly to create memorable experiences for our children while raising valuable funds that directly support school projects and enhancements.

Across the year, they host a fantastic range of events that our families look forward to, including our much‑loved Summer Fayre and Christmas Fayre, both of which fill the school with excitement, stalls, games and festive cheer. Seasonal favourites such as the Christmas Movie Night, Valentine’s Disco, and Halloween Disco bring pupils together for fun, friendship and celebration. These events not only help raise money for additional resources and opportunities, but also strengthen the sense of community that makes Hartside such a special place.

Our Friends of the School group is always delighted to welcome new members. Whether you can offer an hour at an event, help with planning behind the scenes, donate raffle prizes, or simply share ideas, every contribution makes a difference. Getting involved is a fantastic way to support the school, meet other families, and be part of the vibrant community spirit that makes Hartside so special.

There’s no minimum commitment — volunteers can help as much or as little as they are able.
