Our School Values

To be the best you can be, what character traits do you need to show? That was the question we asked our community. From an extensive list of suggestions, we grouped ideas under ten umbrella traits, and the School Council voted for the six that best reflect our community. The children then helped design unique logos for each value, making them truly theirs.

These values aren’t just words on a page—they shape everything we do. They guide our behaviour policy, our house point system, and our daily interactions. Children earn points for demonstrating these traits and are celebrated in assemblies with special character awards.

• Respect – Valuing others and our environment.
• Grit – Showing perseverance and determination in learning and life.
• Kindness – Caring for others through words and actions.
• Empathy – Understanding and sharing the feelings of others.
• Self-Control – Managing emotions and making positive choices.

We live and breathe these values every day, helping our children grow into confident, responsible individuals.
