Uniform
The Governors believe that school uniform:
- Should be both practical and appropriate
- Gives children a sense of pride and belonging to the school
- Portrays the correct image to the general public
- Makes children easily recognisable while out of school on educational visits
- Should be affordable
Children are required to wear the following:
- Red jumper or sweatshirt
- White shirt or polo shirt
- Grey trousers or black trousers
- Grey or black pinafore or skirt
- Sensible black shoes
- Black, grey or white socks
- Grey, black or red tights
The following are optional:
- Grey or black tailored shorts (Warmer months)
- Red gingham Summer dress (Warmer months)
- Black boots (Colder months)
There is no requirement for branded school wear and children are welcome to wear generic school uniform from a range of retailers. Should you wish to purchase branded school items, you are welcome to do so from:

We have a free uniform swap shop, so that parents can access preloved uniforms that are in good condition. Contact the school office to arrange a time.
Hairstyles and Jewellery
- Long hair must be tied up
- No brightly coloured hair, shaved designs, or tramlines
- Hair accessories should be simple and reflect the school colours
- One set of studs is acceptable, but should be removed for PE; the children must be able to do this themselves, alternatively they can be removed before school.
If you intend to get your child’s ears pierced, can I ask that you do so at the start of Summer to give them adequate time to heal.
